It puts a human face onto people who want to survive an economic collapse with their core values staying the same and their humanity not twisted into an us and them attitude. I like the positive aspects but would like to see survival without convenient experts with big bucks. What about the rest of us?
As always the author has delivered a believable scenario of life after the end of civilization. Fast paced and leaves you wanting more.
For me it's not about how much this books costs, or how short the books are in this series, but the story inside the book(s). I look forward to each new volume. Keep writing!
I have been along for the ride for this entire series. Cholley is a truly gifted writer who draws you in and takes you along into the world of future and past and makes you think about the possibilities.
Can't wait for the next in the series! I know your busy on new book but please don't leave us stranded too long.
I've been reading this great series as well as almost any other Prepper Fiction I can find. I love this series and it just keeps getting better and better. Little nuggets for real preppers make these volumes informational as well as being entertaining. Each volume sets the stage of anticipation for the next volume. I won't miss any.
What would you do if life as we know it completely stopped? This story explores the possibility without the usual "commercials" for particular types of gear or guns you should stock up on. This is more of a story about people coming together to build their families and communities.
I love this story and can not get enough of it!
The story is un finished. So I am waiting for the next volume.
As a rule I don't like this type of book but I have been kept on the edge of my seat by this book. The gore is not as bad as I had feared. The dept of the story made me stay with it in spite of the gore part.
Can't wait for the next one.
